Appointment & Cancellation
Policy
Appointment Confirmation
All mobile notary appointments must be confirmed prior to the scheduled meeting time. Clients should have all documents prepared and valid identification available at the time of the appointment.
Cancellation Notice
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice prior to the scheduled appointment time.
Travel Fee for Late Cancellations
If an appointment is cancelled with less than 2 hours notice, or if the notary has already begun travel to the appointment location, a travel fee of $35–$50 may apply, depending on the distance traveled.
No-Show Policy
If the client is not present at the scheduled location and cannot be reached after a reasonable attempt to contact them, the appointment will be considered a no-show. A travel fee may be charged.
Incomplete Documents or Missing Identification
Clients are responsible for ensuring all documents are ready for notarization and that valid identification is available. If notarization cannot be completed due to missing identification, incomplete documents, or refusal to sign, the travel fee will still apply.
Blue Seal Notary Co. reserves the right to refuse service if a notarization does not meet Florida legal requirements or if the signer appears unwilling, unaware, or unable to understand the document being signed.
